David Goodlett is a Licensed Real Estate Associate, as well as Vice President of Governmental Affairs at Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative, located in Belle Glade, Florida.
He specializes in all types of farmland, production agriculture, ranchlands, and conservation easements. In addition, he has considerable experience with muck lands, organic soil, and raw sugar process and refining.
He graduated from Florida State University and received a Masters of Pubic Administration (MPA) degree from Nova Southeastern University.
His professional career began in government where he served as an Assistant County Administrator in Palm Beach County and subsequently, as District Manager for newly-elected congressman, Tom Lewis. The Congressional District encompassed the heart of Florida's agricultural region, including the Everglades Agricultural Area, stretching from coast-to-coast and from Highlands County south to Collier County.
In this capacity, David dealt directly with agricultural leaders and many of the state’s largest landowners. In 1985, he was hired by the Sugar Industry where he now serves as Vice President of Government and Community Relations.
Dean Saunders, owner of CBC Saunders Real Estate and a former Florida legislator worked with David during their days in government.
