Dean Saunders Earns Accredited Land Consultant Designation
Former Florida Legislator Specializes in Real Estate and Conservation Issues
 LAKELAND, FL. (June 19, 2001) - Dean Saunders was recently awarded the Accredited Land Consultant designation by the REALTORS Land Institute.
The ALC designation, a highly acclaimed achievement in the real estate industry, was announced at the REALTORS Land Institute's 2001 Mid Year Legislative Meeting held in conjunction with the National Association of Realtors in Washington, D.C. Saunders was honored by the RLI Board of Governors upon recommendation of the Designation Committee, as a member of a select group of real estate practitioners who has established his expertise and experience in the area of land brokerage.
The nationally recognized ALC designation is awarded to real estate professionals with years of experience and a substantiated volume of sales, who complete a rigorous schedule of educational courses and institute service requirements. Saunders has distinguished himself as a land brokerage specialist in the real estate marketplace. Just a few over 1,000 realtors have been awarded the ALC designation since its inception in 1955.
In addition to this award, Saunders serves as president-elect of the RLI. He is a licensed real estate broker and chairman of the Florida Real Estate Commission. As the sixth generation of a Florida agriculture family, Saunders knows the land, as well as the needs of ranchers, growers and corporations.
While a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Saunders focused on the protection of private property rights and natural resources. He developed his expertise by crafting legislation to benefit both landowners and the environment. His passion and experience led him to create Saunders Real Estate, LLC, which specializes in a variety of services to meet the needs of landowners, commercial property owners and conservationists.
