Kevin L. Kelley Joins CBC Saunders Real Estate

 Kevin Kelley recently joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate in Lakeland, FL as Realtor® and Sales Associate.
With a background deep in Florida’s agriculture, Kelley will complement the land services of CBC Saunders Real Estate that concentrates on agricultural, ranch, and timber land. The company also offers services for industrial, commercial, and conservation properties.
Kelley has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and an Associate of Arts degree from St. Johns Community College in Palatka, FL. With significant experience in Florida agriculture, Kelley brings noteworthy hands-on knowledge of the agricultural industry and the government agencies that support it.
Appointed in 1997 by the US Secretary of Agriculture, Kelley was the Florida State Executive Director of the Florida Farm Service Agency (FSA) for 12 years, where he oversaw the operations of 37 FSA Service Centers that ensured the well-being of Florida agriculture through the administration of farm programs. Prior to his appointment, he served as Director National Affairs and Assistant Director (Agricultural Policy Division) of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, working closely with governmental agencies and other agricultural industry organizations. In addition, he worked as a Farm Credit Services Loan Officer and Branch Manager for Farm Credit Services.
“Combining thirty years of education and work experience in various agricultural and government environments, I am a part of the rural community of Florida and ready to assist clients with their real estate needs, especially in the areas of farm, ranch, and raw land,” states Kelley.
Kelley has received many distinguished awards throughout his career, including the 2007 Distinguished Service Award and 2007 Certificate of Appreciation, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, University of Florida; 2006 Farm Service Agency Administrators Award, United States Department of Agriculture; 2006 Friend of the Industry, Florida Landscapers and Growers Association; and 2001 Certificate of Appreciation, United States Department of Agriculture.
He is a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Branford, Florida, a member of Florida Farm Bureau, and Alpha Gamma Rho Agricultural Fraternity at the University of Florida
Kelley resides in Branford, FL with wife, Anna, and their three children.
