FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – LAKELAND, FL, June 1, 2016 –Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate (CBCSRE) in Lakeland, FL announces the close of a recent conservation easement for S.Y Hartt & Son, Inc. The transaction included 1,002 +/- acres for a total value of $1,854,450. Dean Saunders, owner/broker of CBCSRE, represented S.Y. Hartt & Son, Inc. in securing the conservation easement through Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program.

The conservation easement on this property also generated a donation of $5,500 to the Florida Cattlemen’s Association (FCA) Foundation through the Saunders Gives Back Program (SGB).

The SGB program, created by CBCSRE, provides an opportunity for FCA members to participate in funding the FCA Foundation through property referrals to CBCSRE. Once sold and closed, a percentage of the brokerage’s commission is contributed to the FCA Foundation. The donations from this program help to sustain and preserve the heritage of Florida cattle ranchers. Florida’s cattle industry is one of the 15 largest in the United States, has been a strong supporter of Florida’s youth, and has worked diligently to give back to the communities they serve.

As a long-time Florida land real estate broker and FCA member, Saunders has strong ties to the association and the rich tradition of Florida landowners, ranchers, cattlemen, and Florida conservation. Continuing the program for 2016, FCA members can visit www.SaundersGivesBack.com to register.
