We welcome Phil Leary, AICP, to the company as a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate. Phil brings to the land brokerage years of strong relationships with the agricultural sector.
He has thirty years of experience in public policy, planning, education, environmental, health care, and working for local and state governments and the private sector.
Phil will remain president of Leary Governmental Affairs Consultants, Inc., where he represents public and private sector clients on legislative, policy, environmental permitting, agriculture, planning/zoning and land use issues at local, state, and federal government levels.
Previously, he served as Director of Government and Community Affairs for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and was Planning and Development Director for Clay County and Putnam County, as well as St. Johns River Water Management District.
Phil obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, with Certificate Minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Florida. He completed post graduate work in public administration, policy, and planning at the University of North Florida. He resides in Palatka, FL
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Florida and American Planning Associations, Florida and American Farm Bureau Federations, Florida Forestry Association, University of Florida Alumni Association, Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists, and the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
