The 163-acre Dundee, Florida grove was sold for $1,475,000. The seller was represented byBrian Beasley, CCA, CNLM and Dean Saunders, ALC, CCIM.
A 67-acre grove located in Lake Wales, Florida was sold for $540,000. The buyer was represented by James F. Clements, ALC and the seller was represented by Richard Dempsey, ALC.
“Demand for citrus groves remains strong. The citrus industry continues to face adversity from a variety of sources, however fruit prices have increased over the past several seasons, and the expectation is that they will remain at or above current levels for some time. As a result, good-producing groves are commanding premium prices,” states Dempsey.
