CBCSRE brokers two Agricultural properties – $10 million-plus – Including Exotic Game Preserve

LAKELAND, FL August 17, 2016 – Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate (CBCSRE) recently brokered the sale of two Florida agricultural properties totaling 2,524 acres. Both sales were brokered by CBCSRE Broker/Owner, Dean Saunders and Associate Broker, Brian Beasley.

The 1,784-acre Red Stag Sanctuary, which was the north part of the Smith Ranch in Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties, sold July 22, for more than $8.29 million. The property is a cattle operation and exotic game preserve. Game includes several varieties of exotic deer, native whitetail deer and turkeys. Sunbreak Farms South, LLC was the seller; the buyer was HCG Smith Ranch, LLC. Bret Dubois, DuBois Real Estate Inc., represented the buyer.

Little Cypress, previously a 640-acre citrus grove operation, in southern Hendry County, was sold July 27 for $2.1 million. The seller was MLIC Asset Holdings, LLC. The buyer, Sunshine Citrus Growers, LLC, plans to clear the land and develop it for row crop farming.
