LAKELAND, FL, November 30, 2021 – Dean Saunders, Founder and Managing Director of SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate, was recently announced as the 2022 National President of the REALTORS Land Institute, a commercial affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), after serving one-year terms as vice president and president-elect.
RLI is a national membership organization for the land real estate profession. Members of RLI specialize in land brokerage of all types of land including farms, ranches, recreational, timberland, vineyards, orchards, undeveloped tracts of land, transitional and development land. RLI elevates the level of professionalism in the land industry by providing all land professionals the expertise and camaraderie that are the foundation for becoming the best in the business.
Joining Saunders on the 2022 Executive Committee of RLI is President-Elect Luke Worrell of Worrell Land Services in Illinois; Vice President Sam Bowers of Bowers and Burns Real Estate in Georgia; and Immediate Past President Renee Harvey of Century 21 Harvey Properties in Texas.

Saunders has an extensive record of service to RLI, serving as Chair of RLI’s Government Affairs Committee, as a member of the ALC Designation Committee, and on their Board of Directors. Additionally, he served as the President of the RLI Florida Chapter. Saunders has been a member of RLI since 1998 and he earned the elite Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation shortly after in 2001.
Saunders, who hails from an eighth-generation Florida agricultural family, founded his real estate brokerage in 1996. The firm has earned numerous awards, including Saunders’ recognition as the 2020 APEX Top National Producer by RLI.
