A department within Saunders Commercial, Saunders Property Management is continuing to grow across Florida, with Sanders now leading the team as part of the firm’s expanding commercial real estate services.

Sanders will oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on commercial portfolios, driving long-term value through tenant retention and operational efficiency. As the former Real Estate Asset Portfolio Manager at Publix Super Markets, she’s known for her hands-on leadership style and strong commitment to maintaining high standards across every property she manages.
With more than 23 years of experience in real estate operations, asset optimization, and team leadership, Sanders brings a strategic mindset to the department’s growing commercial portfolio. At Publix Super Markets, she managed over 26 million square feet of property, overseeing thousands of tenant spaces and an operating budget exceeding $131 million.

Sanders steps into the role as Lauren Smith, who previously led the Property Management team, transitions into a full-time brokerage position. Smith was instrumental in building the department and remains a strong champion of its continued growth and success.

Sanders brings a deep understanding of landlord-tenant dynamics and a strong commitment to operational excellence. She is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. Her approach centers on long-term performance, high standards, and consistently delivering value for clients.
Today, Saunders Property Management oversees more than 2.8 million square feet across 42 properties and 305 tenants. Its eight-person team manages a diverse mix of retail, industrial, and office assets from locally based offices in Lakeland, Orlando, and Tampa, serving clients throughout Central Florida.
