LAKELAND, FL, October 27, 2022 - SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler would like to congratulate our new Managing Director of Orlando, Rafael Mendez on becoming a Certified Commercial Investment Member for the CCIM Institute. This highly-esteemed designation is shared by the most influential and innovative advisors within the industry.
Members who hold this designation have completed rigorous training courses and have maintained a commercial portfolio that reflects significant experience within their field. The education courses cover all areas of ethics and negotiation needed for a successful commercial real estate advisor.
Upon completion of the courses, along with meeting the minimum portfolio requirements, candidates must pass the full-day CCIM Exam that covers all the core concepts from the courses.
While building the portfolio fit for this designation, Rafael closed on a number of interesting and unique transactions. One of his most recent listings was a 4,100 SF industrial warehouse condo within Orlando’s Crownpointe Commerce Park. Also in his commercial portfolio is a large sum of industrial, office, and special-use properties.

Since beginning his career in 2015, Rafael has held a passion for the Orlando area. One of his main motives has been to assist clients and investors as they transition their focus onto the industrial and commercial real estate market. Rafael brings a global perspective with a national presence that has only catapulted clients’ success. Currently residing in Seminole County, FL, Rafael continues to support his community in a number of different ways. Not only does he volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the Special Olympics, but Rafael also serves on the board of directors for Commonsense Childbirth.
As Managing Director of SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler’s satellite office, Rafael’s career has been focused on the greater Orlando market which has prepared him for this leadership role with the firm's expansion into the area.
