It was truly an honor when they chose to honor two of our Senior Advisors, David Hungerford, CCIM and Richard Dempsey, ALC, CIPS at their 2022 Lakeland REALTORS® Annual Installation & Awards Luncheon this past week.

David Hungerford, a member of Lakeland REALTORS'® board of directors, was named the 2022 Commercial Realtor of the Year. Over the course of his career, Hungerford has closed on over $150 million in commercial properties and development land. As the mapping and GIS specialist within the firm, he is a practicing expert in site selection, using our proprietary software systems to provide industry-leading data to clients. Additionally, Hungerford formerly served as the firm’s Director of Research.
Richard Dempsey, past president of Lakeland REALTORS® (2010 & 2020), was inducted into the organization’s hall of fame. His service and leadership within this industry and within the Lakeland REALTORS® organization is unrivaled. Since 1984, Dempsey has been heavily involved in Polk County’s real estate market and serves as one of the prime examples of how to succeed within this industry. Similar to Hungerford, Richard was previously nominated Lakeland REALTORS’® Commercial Realtor of the Year in 2011 and 2017. Furthermore, he even served as the Florida Realtors® District 10 Vice President in 2012 and later again in 2021.
